Some people will look at you and think you’re raving mad of you tell them that you can lose weight in your sleep. But that’s exactly what you can do and here I’m going to tell you how you really can sleep and get slim!

First of all, you have to do things while you’re awake that will cause the weight to continue to drop off while you sleep. There are two main things that you should do, which are, surprise, surprise, eating a good diet and getting plenty of exercise every day!

Ok, so I said two very bad things, but come on. You want to get slim, right?

Do Some Work First

Then you’re going to have to do some work, have some input into making it happen, because it won’t happen if you do nothing! So cut out all the garbage food you’re eating and start eating healthily for heaven’s sake! Then get up off your lazy behind and do some exercise!

Right, back to achieving that slim, healthy body in your sleep. This is how it works folks.

On the changing diet side of thing, I’m not going to repeat the same old same old but I will add that it’s a very good idea to include a lot of plain water in that diet.

Now that we all have a much better understanding of what is going on not just in the body when a person is trying to reduce their body’s size and do it effectively, we know more about what we need to do. So first, let’s take a look at one of the ways to fool the mind into believing you are full to help you get rid of those extra pounds easily!

Trick Your Body by Drinking Lots of Water

The way to trick your mind into believing you are full, aka not hungry and therefore not likely to want to eat food, especially the kind that will help you to gain weight all too easily, is to do something that makes your stomach feel like its full of food without it actually being full of food! The most effective way to do that is to… drink some water!

Yep, as daft and as simple as it sounds, it works!

When you next feel those pangs of hunger coming on and you know that you will lose some of that iron will power and cave in, try this. Instead of reaching for that packet of biscuits or cakes that you have stashed away in your cupboard out of sight of anyone who might accuse you of cheating… reach for a glass and fill it with plain, ordinary water at room temperature.

Then drink it. Not too fast, but take a leisurely few sips at it until the glass is empty. Then do it again! In a couple of minutes, you will no longer feel hungry… it’s magic!

When you exercise during the day, you make your muscles work and the harder you exercise the harder those muscles work. During strenuous exercise, certain muscles will suffer slight damage and tearing of the tissues.

Don’t worry, this is normal and actually a good thing as long as the damage is not severe, which is what can happen if you try to do too much too soon. You have to build up your exercises to a level that is gradually more strenuous every day.

What happens next is nothing short of miraculous.

After your exercises, you must rest. This is vital not only to your ability to exercise more each day, but for the strength and stamina building process to complete, which has a knock on effect of causing fat loss.

Resting Muscles Repair and Build

When you rest, like for instance sleeping, your muscles go into repair mode and start fixing all the tiny tears and strains that you caused through the exercise you did earlier. This process takes several hours, which is why you should aim at a good 8 hours sleep every night.

While your muscles are repairing, they are using energy to make those repairs and to create new muscle tissue to strengthen the muscles in readiness for the next day’s exercise.

While your muscles are using that energy, it has to come from somewhere, right? Well, it comes from your stored up fat cells. Which means that while you are asleep and your muscles are repairing themselves, you are burning fat and at the same time slimming your body literally in your sleep.
